Windows 10: Lot Of Problems Being FACED. PLEASE HELP.

So the problem i think has started after the damn windows update around 19th January 2019 although im not sure about it.


The problems im facing are:-

1) When i start my laptop , after entering my password , my whole screen goes BLANK (or BLACK). Then after a while like after 5-10 minutes , the desktop finally appears. But during the blank screen , im able to open my task manager somehow. i dont know why.


2) The Next problem is with my Taskbar , windows key , cortana , mic , wifi toggle , battery button , speaker , on-screen keyboard , date/time and notifications are not working. They are just not popping up.
The Language button is working though. Apart from these , all the taskbar application icons are also working. Upper Arrow (left to wifi) is working.

Also what im seeing is a gap between my Discord and Steam Icon in the taskbar. When i bring my cursor over the Invisible icon between discord and steam , it does hover but it doesnt open and i dont know what it is. Also im able to shift it to different places like after steam or before discord etc.


3) The Next problem is , after right clicking on the windows button and selecting settings , it doesnt open. Apart from settings , also some other options like "System" , doesnt open.

4) Also Windows Key doesnt activate the Windows Bar.

These problems are really MAKING my life a mess. Cant do anything. PLEASE HELP ME.

P.S. I Have tried updating my BIOS but its the same BIOS File as before. No other updated file is there to download.

MY LAPTOP IS THE ACER ASPIRE 5 (Aspire A515-51G). Its only been 8 months since i bought this laptop. wew.

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
