Windows 10: Lotus 123 Millennium with Windows 10

I am still using many worksheets I developed for Lotus.

I have been using the without any problems until a week ago when:

Some of my worksheets will not display the drop-down menu for Range Properties

Others will display the drop-down but will not allow me to use the mouse to indicate ranges, I have to navigate to the range boundaries.


My last DVD product disk is Part No CD 8541 E and is SmartSuite Millennium edition for Windows 98.

I have been using it successfully with Windows 10 since !0 came out.


Can it be a worksheet specific setting which has been corrupted?

Any help would be appreciated.

Lotus 123 Will Install On A Windows 10 (64bit) Computer

Many thanks to DavidCoulter001. I have successfully installed Lotus 123 from a Lotus SmartSuite Millennium edition (release 9.5) disk onto two computers running Windows 10 Pro (64-bit). This software was released in 1999. I had not succeeded with an
earlier release (from 1995), but the later version installed without any problems or work-arounds. Very old Lotus 123 files (*.wk1) do not read into release 9.5, but it is simply a matter of upgrading these to (*.wk4) on my old computer (Windows XP, 32-bit)
first. With a big investment in Lotus 123 over many decades in terms of Lotus files created, macros written and my general fluency in the software, I was very relieved that I still have Lotus 123 as my primary spreadsheet program to this day.

I am not sure what to say other than that I have got Lotus 123 release 9.5 (millennium edition) to work on two computers (a desktop and a laptop) both running Windows 10 (64-bit). It is now over 18 months since I installed, but I recall it was without any
issues. Perhaps you could get a computer specialist to assist you, because if you are anything like me, you would be lost without Lotus 123. Further I could not imagine having to convert multiple Lotus 123 files to Excel, since they will not all convert
without errors. Good luck.

 

Lotus 123 Version 9.8 and Windows 10 - Will Lotus 123 load and run?

Has anyone tried or been able to load Lotus 123, version 9.8 on a Windows 10 laptop?

My current Toshiba laptop with Windows 8.1, loaded and runs Lotus 123, (Original IBM SmartSuite version 9.8 install CD). I don't want to upgrade it to Windows 10 unless Lotus 123 will still run on it. I have hundreds of spreadsheet programs written in
Lotus 123 and hate to lose them. I do all my current financial and budget spreadsheet in Lotus 123, and use special print macros to make them fit on one page with minimal margins.

Any help or comments would be appreciated. Thanks, Lynn.
