Windows 10: Low Disk Space on K Drive

I recently upgraded to Windows 10 October update. Windows 10 now reports low disk space on local disk K which is 450 mb with 47 mb free.

Before the update Windows did not report on this drive. I have no idea what this drive is or where it is located, but it has been on my computer

for a long time. Drive display shows file folders like documents etc. but no files, on the file folder list is a folder called other with 385 mb of files

but shows nothing when opened, system files & reserve folder is 17mb, when opened is says your pc may not work with out these files, but shows no files. Problem is Windows 10 now reports on this low disk space every 15 to 20 minutes and is annoying, how do I stop it?

Why I constantly notification of low disk space in Local Drive K:? I don't have a physical drive K nor use a drive K. It shows up in disk management as a 450 mb drive without any content. How to get rid of it or reformat it?

It has been happening with new update that new drive is getting uncovered and you start getting low space notifications. You can do following to hide it and there will be no harm anywhere.

Type diskpart in Windows Start Search box (Cortana) > Right click on Diskpart and Run as Administrator

Give following command and Enter:

select volume k

Give following command and Enter:

remove letter=k

How to free up local disk "K" space

Since the last windows upgrade I keep getting a low local disk "K" space warning! If there a way to free up space on this local drive?
