Windows 10: Low quality recording on Microsoft Modern Wireless Headset

Hello,I recently bought a Microsoft Modern Wireless Headset 8JR-00003, and it has some issues, that I wasnt expecting. I am using the Microsoft USB link dongle, but I tried the Bluetooth connecting and is the same scenario.- When a just listen music the quality is very good.- When a have some music running on background, and accept a call, the quality was very low.- on advanced settings of device properties, the only profile avaible for recording is 16 bits - 16000hz Tape RecorderI have another Wireless Headset Corsair Virtuoso Wireless that havent this issues, and show many profiles 1

Low quality audio in headset when microphone is activated

Anytime anything activates the mic (Discord, Skype, Webex, the recording tab in the sound part of the control panel) the audio quality in my headset is very low quality.

To Reproduce:

1. Play music of choice
   
2. Press the windows key and type sound
   
3. Click the Recording tab. Music will change to low quality
   
4. Click the Playback tab your music should sound normal
   
5. Rip hair out in frustration

To better assist you with the issue, does this only occur on Teams? If so, what's version of Teams are you using?

At the same time, you can try to:

1. Connect this headset to another device and then check its performance.

If its volume effect is as low as in the current device, it is advised to contact the after-sale service or our online support on the condition that it's still within the warranty.

• Access this link | Contact - Office Support (microsoft.com) > Fill in a brief problem description in the input box, click Get Help > Below will appear to Sign in to Contact Support (if not signed in to MSA) or Contact Support (if signed in to MSA).
  

• Select the product or service your issue is related to, and click Confirm.
  

• Click on Chat with a support agent in your web browser and confirm your account again to connect to Online Support.
  

2. Connect another headset or earphone to your current device and then check its behavior.

If the microphone volume is as low as the Microsoft headset, it is advised to press Windows + X and open the Device Manager > Expand the Audio inputs and outputs > Right-click on your audio driver and select Properties > Click Uninstall > After that, visit the brand manufacturer's official website and download the latest version of the driver and install it.
