Dear Sir / Madam after installing Windows what settings should I make for low resource consumption, stopping services, 100% disk, 100% memory, 100% CPU, background applications ect ...?

Windows store background task 100% cpu

Thanks for the generl advice, but there isnt a store service this is a background task (backgroundtaskhost.exe), the fact a background task is allowed to use 100% cpu is clearly a bug, but anyway this is most likley scheduled task but there are no obvious
candidates in the list of tasks.

 

Disk Usage at 100% On windows 10

I'm running into a similar issue, my C: drive hits 100% after power up, and CPU is low, as well as memory.

I have narrowed it down the the Data Sharing Service taking up most of it.

Not sure how to stop it either.

• Did you receive any error messages?
• Can you send us the screenshot of the Task Manager showing the 100% disk usage and memory usage?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
