Windows 10: Low sound volume?

    Low sound volume?


    Since updating my wife's and my Sister-N-Law's laptops to the April update And the CU the volume on their laptops is low even though the volume is set to 100. Is this a known problem and is there a fix? I have tried deleting and reinstalling the sound card drivers. My wife's laptop is using the latest High Definition Audio Device driver and my Sister-N-law's laptop is using the latest Realtek High Definition Audio driver. Selecting Loudness Equalization helped a little.

    • Did you make any recent changes before the issue started?
    • Is the sound coming from the computer’s internal speakers or external speaker?
    • Have you tried using an earphone or a headset and check if the audio’s volume is still low?

    alarm sound too low

    i have to set the alarm to 6:30 am every morning and when the alarm starts, the sound is too low and it seems like its the ascending type, the one that starts in this low sound then it starts lowder but its too low anyway and it sound louder when someone
    calls me.Any help on how can i change those settings
