    M.2 Drives disappearing after installing 2021-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for...


    Both M.2 Drives started disappearing from Windows after I installed 2021-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems KB5007215. Removing the update stabilized my system again. Just thought I would pass this along.

    For almost 5 yrs, we are using the same windows 10 still, I don't think windows 11 is gonna come this is making me think of switching to Apple ios where I will get ios version update every year, at least launch windows 11 the next year 2021, please don't
    keep on giving updates for windows 10 I hope windows 11 to be launch soon, thankyou

    Successfully installed on 15/11/2017

    2017-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for amd64-based Systems (KB4048955)

    Successfully installed on 15/11/2017

    I have not shown all updates in this list.

    I tried a suggestion by Norton of disabling 'Auto-Protect' and 'Smart Firewall' while retrying the update, but that made no difference.

    So please Microsoft what is the solution?

    I suppose I could leave it alone to continue failing until the next big update, but would that solve the problem?
