    Mac top menu bar - Windows equivalent?


    Hi guys, hoping somebody might be able to offer some insight into this. I am thinking of changing from mac os to windows 10. Something very useful on mac is the menu bar across the top of the screen while using apps, on the end of which is a 'help' tab, with which you can quick search for various tasks within whatever app you are using. For example, it is really handy on photoshop or illustrator, where you can quickly locate whatever effect etc you wish to apply. Is there an equivalent for this 'help' tab on windows?

    I was using Firefox on a Mac. Before I was using on a PC . XP OS. I remember there being a bar at the top with words. Cursor over these words wud give you drop down menus with choices to click on. Does this only happen with Firefox? Is this discarded
    with Windows 10?

    This is on a per-app basis and many apps have different settings for this. It is much more standardized in Mac for this.

    However, to do this in Firefox it is fairly simple.

    At the top bar in an empty space right click and then make sure the "menu bar" has a checkbox next to it. By default, it should not. Just click on it to enable it.

    After this, the bar with "file", "edit", etc dropdowns should now show. ]
