Event Viewver has logged Event 18, WHEA-Logger: A fatal hardware error has occurred Reported by component: Processor Core Error Source: Machine Check Exception Error Type: Cache Hierarchy Error Processor APIC ID: 0 I've been having these logged since 2020 when first setup windows using bootcamp on my macbook pro 2019Most are benign, but others result in a Blue Screen of Death BSOD.As far as I can tell, the MacOS is not reporting any hardware problems.I have the Macbook Pro into an Apple store and no hardware problems were found.I have recently deleted the bootcamp partition and re-created

    Event 18, WHEA-Logger

I have just built a custom PC 3-4 days ago and at first I was getting an Event 41-Kernel Power error that would send my computer to blue screen and then reboot.

That hasn't happened in a few days (followed some steps online and it hopefully resolved it)

Only issue now is that I keep receiving this Event 18, WHEA-Logger error.

A fatal hardware error has occurred.

    Reported by component: Processor Core

    Error Source: Machine Check Exception

    Error Type: Bus/Interconnect Error

    Processor APIC ID: 8

The details view of this entry contains further information.

    My Computer is:

    CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900x

CPU Cooler: NZXT X63 Kraken 240mm Liquid AIO

    Motherboard: MSI B550-A PRO

    RAM: G.Skill 16GB 3600mhz

    GPU: EVGA GTX 1080ti

    PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 650W 80+ Gold

    Things I've tried:

Running an sfc scannow scan in CMD

Running the check disc command in CMD

Downgrading my BIOS version to an older version

    disabling XMP for my ram

Upgrading my BIOS version to the newest version

stress testing my cpu, gpu, and ram

    disabling memory fast boot

making sure there's no overclocks or PBO (can't remember the name) on my cpu settings in bios

Installing a clean version of windows

updating all the drivers for literally everything (gpu, bios, specific hardware connected, specific slots, etc)

Any ideas as to a fix? Is this a Hardware related issue or a Software related issue? If needed I can provide a log. Any support would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to find my minidump files and could not locate these files at all. I have however was able to locate a file in Local disk c>windows>Livekernalreports>WHEA

I was hoping for some insight on isolating this issue and what may have caused this crash
