Great. That was 9 passes for 16 GB RAM using Memtest86+ version 5.01= Pass.

The HD Tune error scans can be run overnight.

For the drives also open administrative command prompt and run chkdsk /x /r
This may take many hours for each drive so plan to run overnight.
To view the eventvwr report use the information in this link and post the reports into the thread:

And now chkdsk has completed, also with no errors.

Looks like I'll be doing a PSU test in the next few days then...

See if you can find a friend, neighbor, local store etc. to swap the graphics card.
Test the performance of the graphics card in the other computer and test the graphics card in this computer.
What happens with the freezing when the graphics cards are tested in each computer?
    Same, better, or worse?

Also make these tests before swapping:
    1) run the computer in safe mode and see whether you have or don't have freezing.
    2) remove the graphics card and use default graphics: is the freezing the same, better, or worse?

I do have a friend that may swap his GTX 1070 for a short while. If not, I know I won't be upgrading my GPU in the foreseeable future, but it is certainly the bottleneck of my system and I plan to upgrade when I have the funds. So if I can't resolve the crash before I am able to upgrade, maybe upgrading will be the resolution (if it did turn out to be a GPU caused crash). Of course I want to exhaust as many avenues as possible before I'm faced with that as a solution.

Just an update to the situation: Relating to the BSODs caused by the sketchy Focusrite driver, I've tested out the BETA driver they provided me with and all seems to be running smoothly over the last 24-ish hours.

I experienced another system freeze yesterday, which happened whilst I was away from my computer (and FYI it occured prior to testing out the Focusrite driver, so the crash is unrelated to this). If I remember correctly, I had minimal programs running (no games, maybe a couple of chrome tabs open and steam running in the background) and when I came back to the machine after being away for a couple of hours the monitor would not wake up (as it could not detect any mouse cursor or keyboard input due to being frozen). I have attached an updated log but I don't expect there to be much more recorded than an unexpected power off event.

I will probably be able to borrow a GPU some time next week, but my thoughts are leaning more and more towards the problem being power related (PSU/mains outlet etc.), as I also am having an issue when I connect USB sticks to my system. Earlier on I plugged a USB stick into a 3.0 port and everything disconnected. Mouse, keyboard, headset, interface, everything, however, the devices did recover after a few seconds and reconnected fine. This is just a minor annoyance which I could live with, but maybe it can tell us more about what's going on?

The last crash in the event log was yesterday 10 /13/2017.
The last BSOD in the logs was 1 week ago from 10/07/2017.
The event log displayed the installation of Focusrite.

The event log is displaying paging errors with one of the drives so all drives need to be evaluated with both HD Tune and chkdsk /x /f /r

    Model SanDisk Ultra USB Device

    Model WDC WD10EZRX-00L4HB0

    Model SanDisk SDSSDXPS240G

    Run HDTune: HD Tune website
    to check the health,
scan for errors, no quick scan but full scan
    run a benchmark.

It may take some time, but please take the time you need to perform it properly.
When above is done please make screenshots of the following
    the health,
    the error scan,
    the benchmark incl. following
    transfer rate,
    access time,
    burst rate,
    cpu usage.
Take Screenshot in Windows 10 General Tips Tutorials

Please post an image into the thread for each HD Tune: Health, full error scan, and benchmark.

In addition for any drive that has not yet had a chkdsk /x /f /r scan please perform the scan overnight and post the results into the thread.

I did already run both drives through HD Tune and chkdsk a few days ago, is it likely that running the tests again will uncover anything the prior tests didn't?

Please post images of the results into the thread.
Were all 3 drives troubleshooted with HD Tune and chkdsk /x /f /r ?
If there was a link that was missed please re-post the link.

The first error noted was 10/9.
The last error noted was 10/14.

Only chkdsk /x /r commands were performed, as /f was not instructed in the previous post.

Okay the r actually includes the f.

Open up an administrator PowerShell prompt and paste this into it and press enter.

Get-Disk | Select-Object FriendlyName, Model, Manufacturer, Number, IsBoot, AllocatedSize, HealthStatus, OperationalStatus, BusType, FirmwareVersion, PartitionStyle, Path | Format-List > "$home\Desktop\disk-info.txt"

This will place a disk-info.txt on your desktop, open it up and post the result.
