Windows 10: Macros are not running in windows 10 pro and enterprise editions

Hi Team,


We are facing an issue while executing the macros in windows 10 Pro and Enterprise edition..

When we are trying to open the Macros excel sheet it shows "Automation Error", the same excel is working as expected in most of other machines (with the same configuration) but in fresh installation it is throwing the above error.


We tried all possibilities but we had bad experience .


Please help us on this ...

• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

To help you on upgrading your Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro, we suggest that you check this

You can follow the steps provided below to be able to downgrade to Windows 7:

• Open Settings.
• Select Update & security.
• Click Recovery tab.
• Look for the option to "Go back to Windows 7/8", and click on "Get Started" to begin the process.

How to receive updates on Windows 10 Enterprise edition?

Thank you for the reply.

As you are trying to install updates on Windows 10 Enterprise edition, suggest you to post the question in the TechNet Forum.

The Enterprise edition is a different edition altogether compared to Pro edition and you do not have the downgrade option available.
