Windows 10: Magnification/pixelation of signin page

On my Lenovo ideapad 310, the lock screen image is all good but the login page which uses the same image is extremely blurry and appears grossly over magnified as does the few pieces of lettering and other things on the page, I have tried to reduce the magnification by pressing the Microsoft key plus the plus + sign but this doesn't work. The problem first appeared immediately after a major windows update about six months or more ago. How can I return the login page image to it's normal size?

Magnification

I can't get the magnification on my computer reduced from 200%. I have tried going to "settings," "ease of use" and turning off the magnification option, but the magnification option is still at 200%. Any other suggestions?

 

got out of frozen signin page


I added "free" Windows 10 on my Dell Inspiron 1545 which first had Windows 7 and was on a frozen signin page all day yesterday. Tried all kinds of online help suggestions, to no avail. Finally, turned the laptop off, then pressed and held F12 button while turning it back on. It finally got me off that frozen page to the page I usually go to when first turning the computer on. Went to apps and then settings where I found an option to uninstall Windows 10, which I did immediately. It took about 1/2 hour to run diagnostic and reboot. Hope this helps somebody avoid the loss of a day online.

 

Mouse magnifer

I cannot get the Microsoft mouse 5000 magnifier to work using all the suggestions posted. Does anyone make a mouse that controls magnification from the mouse (similar to the Microsoft 5000)
