    Mail 4 Windows 10 & Outlook.com corruption


    We use Windows 10, Office 365, Mail 4 Windows, Edge & Defender.

    We have only 1 email address L: abcxyz@sky.com - we do not use outlook.com or Office Outlook.

    Our problem is that when recipients reply to my emails, their systems remit to a spurious outlook.com address, which since does not exist is returned as a fail - this is not unique to one or two recipients.

    The end of my emails has the standard logo "Sent from Mail for Windows 10". If the word mail is clicked it opens up the following in the default browser:
    https://outlook.live.com/owa/?WT.mc_..._signature_w10

    Default mail apps list both mail for 1. Windows & 2. Outlook; however clicking on either elicits no response.

    Should both be listed? Should we get no response when we clicok on either? Should we attempt to remove outlook?

    SFC /scannow shows no errors.

    This is an awkward problem to solve and one I don't think is worth the time and effort.

    The OP would be better off either using a modern webmail service like gmail or outlook.com or using a modern email client like Windows Live Mail like FX-GMC suggested or Thunderbird from Mozilla. If nothing else, Outlook Distress was notorious for corrupting its data files and losing all your email in one easy step. Not worth it.

    Delete mails in Outlook but want to keep mails untouch in webmail

    When I deleted an email in outlook and my webmail got deleted too. I want to keep all the inbox mails from the webmail even I complete deleted in outlook. I spend hrs can't think it out how. Any step by step instruction? I'm using IMAP account btw. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

    How to install outlook express on windows xp with explorer 8?

    This was going to be my suggestion as well. I just wasn't sure if it worked with XP. It is definitely way better than Outlook Express, and I actually prefer it to regular Outlook as well.
