Mail app in Windows 10 not receiving content

I read all my mail in the Windows 10 app. Gmail company account, for example, from a business I work for. Recently, messages coming from other users in that domain are coming through with no content when they are forwarding messages to me. Any text they write to accompany the forwarded message is visible, just not the forwarded message. I can go sign into Gmail.com and see the whole message there. Why is the Mail app discriminating on this content?

    :)

Mail app will not open on 10041.

    Hello Adam,

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it. Mail app in Windows 10 not receiving content :)

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

    • Open powershell as administrator
    • Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
    • Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
