Windows 10: Mail App

Discus and support Mail App in Browsers and Email to solve the problem; Windows 10 Mail app is storing all manually entered email address to use as an auto-fill option if you type the first letter of that address again.... Discussion in 'Browsers and Email' started by elbeasto, Feb 23, 2016.

    Mail App

Windows 10 Mail app is storing all manually entered email address to use as an auto-fill option if you type the first letter of that address again.

If you happen to type in an incorrect address it is impossible then to remove.

It seems to create a fake or dummy contact in the 'People' app which again has no option to be deleted or removed.

I'm finding this extremely frustrating as the incorrect addresses have spread across all my Windows 10 devices!

    :)

  3. AT&T Tilt & Motorola H700 Bluetooth

I have the AT&T Tilt and tried using it with two different Motorola H700 bluetooth devices. My complaint is the range is very short (only about 3 or 4 feet) with both bluetooth devices. Sometimes it is necessary for me to hold the phone in my hand to maintain
satisfactory communication. Question: Which bluetooth device on the market has the longest range with the AT&T Tilt?? I have read both good and bad comments about the H700. However, I am also suspicious of the AT&T Tilt as well. The reason is-- I experienced
the same issues with the HTC 8125 phone also. So this possibly is a HTC problem.

Can't really find any other info but I just reset my Surface 3 and the auto-fill addy's are no longer there... My desktop is a local account without the MS email account in the Mail app so is not affected.

I added my ms email account my desktop and the bug persists...
resetting my desktop for the 2nd time today to try and fix this...

There must be a file storing manually entered email addresses, if someone could just tell me where it is and I can try editing or deleting it.
