Windows 10: Mail/Calendar won't launch anymore.

After the upgrade of Windows 10 Mail / Calendar app to 16005.11425.20190.0 the app no longer wants to open. An empty window appears and immediately disappears. Are there any such reports? And how do I solve that?

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

Option Two
Look for (To remove Calendar and Mail app from current account only) and use that command line on your Windows PowerShell.

After that, go to Windows Store and reinstall Mail and Calendar.

You´re right. That´s crazy by the way, why won´t it show calendar items in "contacts" mode?



Some things aren´t really logical with this phone....
