    make a little bit fast

I know and accept that my computer is not compatible with Windows 11. I just want to make it a little bit faster. This is only 2 and half years old and this PC is up to date. However, when I try to browser or do something it will load slower. This is just for home use and Im the only one who is using it. Please any tips will help and kindly provide me some basic as im not a tech savvy.

    :)

  2. Color bit depth is at 6-bit on Display properties of Windows 10 pro

Try the below suggested steps and check if the suggested options are available to change the Color bit Depth value

    1. Right click on the desktop and select NVIDIA Control Panel.
    2. Expand the Display, and then highlight the Change resolution.
    3. On the right side, check if there is 8 bpc listed under
      Output color depth.
    4. You may select 8 bpc and restart the device to witness the changes.

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond make a little bit fast :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.

Fast Start-up doesn't work after updating to ver 2004

    Hi,

I'm sorry that the solution provided previously didn't work so as to the next step in making the fast startup option work I would suggest you make sure Hibernate option is enabled, please follow the below to enable Hibernate along with Fast Startup Option

To make hibernation available, follow these steps:

    Step 1:

Press the Windows button on the keyboard to open the Start menu or Start screen.

    Step 2:

Search for cmd. In the search results list, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as Administrator.

    Step 3:

When you are prompted by User Account Control, click Continue.

    Step 4:

At the command prompt, type powercfg.exe /hibernate on, and then press Enter.

    Step 5:

    Restart the PC

Fast little USB thumb drive.: Just got one of these. It arrived today. Macrium Reflect accepts it as a place to save a backup. My backups are about 16GB, so I tested it's speed at defaults and for 16GB sized files. Pretty fast. I had it in a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A, port. 177574

Fast Start and shutdown behaving a little oddly.: I have 'Fast Start' enabled in power options. It is ticked as being on.
