Windows 10: Make folder shortcuts appear before folders?

Discus and support Make folder shortcuts appear before folders? in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; Because of the allocation of my files to my hard drive and solid state drive and their respective storage space, I've had to move a lot of things...     Make folder shortcuts appear before folders?


    Because of the allocation of my files to my hard drive and solid state drive and their respective storage space, I've had to move a lot of things around and create folder shortcuts to keep my method of navigating folders simple as I'm used to. The way I've always named important folders is by putting "0" before the name so it would appear first on the screen alphabetically.


    Now that I'm using folder shortcuts, it's an inconvenience to navigate through the sheer amount of files and projects I have without these new shortcuts being at the top of the list. I was wondering if there was any way, any kind of setting or whatnot, to make it so folder shortcuts are treated the same way as folders in how they're organized.

    How to make a Uber Hidden Folder

    • Make a new folder.
    • Change the icon to a blank icon. No icon should appear
    • Rename the folder to a blank by pressing "alt + 255." (NOTE: Press 255 on the numpad) No text should appear.
    • Your done! It is uber hidden. *Big Grin Make folder shortcuts appear before folders? :D

    Trouble deleting a folder

    Thanks for the suggestion but it says "delete folder failed for E:\....." for each folder I try.

    *Confused Make folder shortcuts appear before folders? :confused:

    Will I be forever stuck with these unnecessary folders? *Oh Well Make folder shortcuts appear before folders? :eek:hwell:

    yeah but if you search within windows search can u still be able to find files you put in it like say porn or somthing like that. that you can hide from the g/f or wife lol
