  1. Make Microsoft account

Hi I'm new I'm 60 and useless on computers . Bought a new laptop and it wouldn't let me create a Microsoft account . Brought up error 0x80190f4. And kept saying my emails were lost which it wasn't they were still on there. Brought up' call us over protective 'message and 'verify your info 'message which it wouldn't let me do. They sent me 2 verification codes to my phone 7 digits each neither worked just sent up the 'something has gone wrong 'message . It wanted me to sign in with a primary alias ??!!also sent up code 0x80190005. I spent 4 hours online with "support" from Microsoft they kept saying it was showing no errors their end . Sent screenshot of the email error message and the codes. They decided it was an engineer issue and told me to come on here only thing is you need a Microsoft account to do that !!!!!????? So I have managed to open an account on here using my tablet and a new email address which I never wanted, just wanted my own one ! Will I be able to use this on the laptop too ! Dare not try it without advice having totally wasted 4 hours on the so called Microsoft support in case it mucks up this one on my tablet I just made . Every time I put the laptop on ,it throws up a pop up message saying' Microsoft account problem we need to fix your Microsoft account most likely your password changed select here to fix it in shared experiences '. Then' some of your accounts require attention fix here . 'But if I press that I get an 'oops something went wrong' message 'fix on the web ! 'Except it wont fix !! Any advice thanks I will look tomorrow if anyone could help . The support said it was a brand new problem whatever that meant . Sorry if its posted in wrong place cant see one for just Microsoft account I just want to know why I cant make a Microsoft account with my original email it keeps telling me I already have registered an account with my original email address but it wont let me verify it or use it or sign into it . It wont let me change password or anything . If you post please make it an idiots guide of one syllable answers thanks . I cant see where these engineers technical support are on here ,the Microsoft "help" told me they are not able to contact the engineers ! At which point I gave up on the 4 wasted hours

    :)
