Windows 10: Make taskbar icons bigger?

None taken. You don't have to use it if you don't want to. I have not programmed this. However I have used 7+ Taskbar Tweaker for years and I would call it trusted program although it's not signed.

 

Go to your start page, hold down "ctrl" and turn your mouse wheel. This worked for me. *Party

The page that comes up after you log on...the page where the icons are first visible...sorry for the confusion. *Wink

 

Stop confusing taskbar icons with desktop icons....

 

So they are paying you to promote it?

If its not signed, its not trusted. My other path is to use open source if there are no trusted certs, I dont care who wrote the damn thing.

 

I'm trying it right now, I don't see any options to increase the taskbar icons size. *Sad

It's in the 'advanced options' window available from the top-left corner application icon menu.
Worked perfectly for me.

That slider only goes up to 125%, I don't even notice any difference. Also that slider doesn't even stay in place. It keeps jumping back. I'm trying advanced options. There you can pick a choice. See if it works...

Yes!! It works perfectly. Now I have big icons in the task bar and bigger text overall on the screen. I set it at 125% and that is just perfect.

Sorry but I have only a Spanish W10 version right now and an English one will be installed in a few days on a second PC. I can only give the Spanish path, in a few days I'll give the English one.

Agrandar el tamaño de los iconos en la barra de tarea:

Configuración>sistema>cambiar el tamaño. Puedes poner el cursor movedizo en 125%. Pero eso no cambia nada. Y además la próxima vez que inicias, se repone de si mismo en la posición baja de 100%... Entonces, continúa así: >configuración de pantalla avanzada>opciones avanzadas de tamaño de texto y otros elementos>configurar un nivel de escalado personalizado> ajustar a este porcentaje del tamaño normal >de 100 500%. >
Funciona de maravilla después de reiniciar. ..

Edit 2/9/15: I put them back at 100%. At 125% I'm loosing a lot of space on the screen. And there's no in between. Curious what would happen at 150%., let alone at 500%.

To set it up, open the software, click in the top left window and then choose "advanced options". Scroll through the list of settings to "w10_large_icons" and change it to 1.

 

I dont follow? Have I missed something obvious?

 

"7+ taskbar tweak" work so well, but taskbar icons turn back smaller when I exit "7+ taskbar tweak" *Sad

 

find out how 7+ tweak is changing the icons. is it registry or whatever.
