Windows 10: Malware in official Win10 1909 ISO ?

Hi everybody !

I need to reinstall my PC , so i downloaded the Win10 ISO from official microsoft website (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10) and i extracted him, at that moment I decided to scan "setup.exe" with VirusTotal cause my pc is probably fully infected, but the result are very weird, i don't know what to think... all execution parents are detected as malware and communicates with crappy websites(such as "microsoft.mypicture.info" wich is relied with like one hundred "*.mypicture.info"), i found Xorer, Neshta with his root node, an unidentified (by me) worm who is talking to "microsoft.mypicture.info" and "127.000.1, a coin miner, a thing called "blocker" or "crypto" according to the different AV engine VT use, Swisyn dropper, Gen.variant.MSIL and a lot of other crappy stuff...

It cleary don't seem to be false positive and i'm taking it from microsoft website so what can i do ? Is modified windows ISO ? If yes how he get modified ? I have exactly the same SHA256 as the one I found on reddit and the file is signed (but not execution parent)...

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

 

Upgrade Win10 1903 to 1909 using 1909 ISO?

Hi,

I need to know whether it is possible to upgrade Windows 10 Ver 1903 Build 18362.720 to 1909 using 1909 ISO?

I am trying to upgrade to 1909 but without using windows update as I already have 1909 ISO file. I don't want to do a clean install of 1909 but wanted to upgrade to 1909 without loosing any installed apps and existing configuration.

Existing Windows update shows a feature update to Windows 10 1909 available but I wanted to know whether Windows 909 ISO would be helpful so I would not have to download similar stuff again.

 

Upgrade Win10 1903 to 1909 using 1909 ISO?

The upgrade from 1903 to 1909 is just some normal Cumulative Updates.. If you haven't done a manual check for updates, try that.

The 1909 .iso is just the 1903 .iso and it installs those updates during the process.. But let us know how it goes..
