    A good ad blocker should prevent ads and pop-ups. Tracking blockers help too.

    I use Firefox and have the free extensions uBlock Origin and Ghostery which are also available for other browsers.

    Block 3rd party cookies etc...

    Getting malware: Hi idk why but i get adware every week like mntemp, adware.mindspark etc. I don't even click scummy links or download anything pirated but why aside from the fact that i use pirated windows i scan for malware with different tools like jrt, rkill and adwcleaner....
