Wondering if someone could point me in the direction of the specific fix for this issue.

Malwarebytes uninstall, Now Windows Defender Protection definitions are out of date 440fb9aa-2894-4a4d-bcd3-4d299c91fc43?upload=true.jpg

    After running Update:

Malwarebytes uninstall, Now Windows Defender Protection definitions are out of date 2d973303-98eb-473b-a98d-3241e4fb6384?upload=true.jpg

    But the warning stays.

I have gone through numerous other posts and tried Removal Tools, Registry Edits , although I was confused with the "if you find any entry for MSASCui.exe, MpCmdRun.exe or MsMpEng.exe then right click on it and click on Delete." Due to the fact that I did find "MsMpEng.exe" but was unable to delete it and found out it is a vital Defender executable.

I also ran the sfc scan and checked group policy issues, no issues were found. This seems to be specific to MalwareBytes for me and have run into it before.

    :)

  2. Windows Defender Definition Updates.

You should not uninstall Windows Defender Definition updates, they are installed to protect your computer from malicious threats. Please leave them alone.

You update history will list previous definitions and updates that were installed, thats normal.

    Windows Defender Definition Updates.

Thank you Elba for the prompt reply. However, there is a problem: In "Control Panel" under the "Programs and Features" page > "View Installed Updates" the " Windows Defender Definition Updates" are NOT listed. Consequently, I cannot delete/uninstall them.
The same thing happens when I use "Settings" >" Updates & Security" > "View Update History". Here the Definition Updates are all listed but I can't uninstall them either. Any other suggestions?

    Thanks again, Fred
