Notepad margins

Hi Jim,

Notepad is a simple text editor wherein you can easily and quickly saved your notes. Office programs such us Microsoft Word does contain the margin feature, as well as WordPad. You may want to use these two if you want to take advantage and maximize the
margin feature.

Left Margin in Notepad documents Changed

Hi,

We tried to replicate the issue but we cannot find any settings that would adjust that little space before the first letter on your notepad. Nevertheless, we recommend that you perform the following steps to reset the settings of notepad to its default:

• Make sure that Notepad is closed before you proceed.
  
• In Cortana, type Regedit.
• Select HKEY_CURRENT_USER.
• Look for SOFTWARE and double-click.
• Select Microsoft.
• Look for the folder Notepad and right-click.
• Select Delete and click Yes.
• Close the Registry Editor window.

After performing the following steps, you can open again your notepad file and check if you now have that little space before the first letter.

margins in Notepad (Win10) - FIX THIS

WHY is EVERY thread on here about the complete lack of margins in the Windows 10 version of notepad locked without a damn solution? NO margins is NOT a feature of a limited editor, it is at BUG that never existed before and needs some damn attention.,
PERIOD. Lazy programming like this is why people are afraid of upgrading. FIX THE DAMN ISSUE OR LEAVE THE THREAD OPEN. Having a hundred closed threads of the same damn subject doesn't help anybody
