Windows 10: MBR2GPT not working

Discus and support MBR2GPT not working in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I tried using mbr2gpt to convert but it shows error for some reason?i suspect it could be because my os partition is in ssd and boot partition is in...     MBR2GPT not working


    I tried using mbr2gpt to convert but it shows error for some reason?i suspect it could be because my os partition is in ssd and boot partition is in hdd.heres a screenshot of the error(as you can see the 549 mb boot partition is in 2 tb hdd )any workarounds for this?     The link below contains a video I was using to try and convert my MBR to GPT on my system drive..

    The video explains that the methods used in your suggestion will destroy data and that is why the new utility MBR2GPT is the recommended solution. Since this utility is new with the latest Fall Creators Update, it may need updating. I hope someone has more
    experience with it and can shed some light on why it fails for me.

    I ran mbr2gpt from elevated command prompt:

    MBR2GPT: Validating layout, disk sector size is: 512 bytes
    Cannot find OS partition(s) for disk 0

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>mbr2gpt /allowfullos /validate /disk:1

    MBR2GPT: Retrieving layout of disk
    MBR2GPT: Validating layout, disk sector size is: 512 bytes
    Disk layout validation failed for disk 1

    Windows 10 infinite restart black screen


    The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
