    Evening all , I recently bought a new harddrive , I tried to convert using this method as it said the conversion rate was rapid taking only seconds . I must have done it wrong because my drive still shows 1.99TB and 2.93MB can someone please tell me how to complete the conversion . thank you .

    The video explains that the methods used in your suggestion will destroy data and that is why the new utility MBR2GPT is the recommended solution. Since this utility is new with the latest Fall Creators Update, it may need updating. I hope someone has more
    experience with it and can shed some light on why it fails for me.

    MBR2GPT Validate failed

    Sir,

    I appreciate your help but

    It requires pro edition for the function,the conversion is not possible on the free edition.Is there any way to use the system provided
    mbr2gpt tool and I wish to know why the
    validation failed?

    I have the latest version of Windows 10 16299.192 and I'm trying to use the MBR2GPT utility to change my system disk from MBR to GPT. The utility gives an error even though DiskPart Uniqueid shows an MBR ID. Does anyone have an idea of what might be wrong
    here? Thanks.
