Windows 10: mcafee link suspect

I bought a mcafee subscription off of ebay before I knew I didn't even need it. I clicked on the link because it looked legit and ran it but nothing happened after that. its an exe file 40mb and my buddy says that is big. I think I may have downloaded something hazardous. can anyone out there check this file and tell me what it is? thank you in advance

win 10 will not allow me to open McAfee

Let’s try simple troubleshooting steps and check if this helps in resolving the issue. I would suggest you to un-install/re-install McAfee and check.

  Press Windows key + X and select
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on Programs and features, right click on the
  McAfee and select uninstall it.
  
• 
  Now install it again.
