Windows 10: media creation tool problem

i want just to upgrade but if i download it to usb i will loose evrything ....

i am from Syria , Could it be forbidden in our countries ? thats why it shows an error ?
there must be a service where i give my old windows registration key and you give me a new reg key to win 10
that would be a lot easier

 

I get a similar screen after the download finishes it starts to verify then the screen just says "something happened". No other information & only option is to close.

Not true, one of the MediaCreationTool options after the download is to start the upgrade, no DVD or flash drive required.
If you do create a DVD or flash drive you can insert it then open the drive and run setup.exe to start the upgrade. It will be the same as if you were doing it through the Windows Update upgrade process.

 

ok i found a simple solution
turn your computer to english - us
reboot
all will work fine

 

my pc is English US & get the error "something happened" when it first tries to verify the download

 

try to get french because one of my friends tried french and it sloved it ...

 

Well I created a ISO and burned it to DVD and strangely enough it is defaulting to Czech. There is no way to change as its the only language listed, tried power off for a while. I will try another computer shortly.

I originally made a USB key which booted fine, but could not install on any partition on two different PCs. It gave the error message "We couldn't create a new partition or locate an existing one. For more information, see the Setup log files." Tried different hard drives/partitions even a completely blank drive.

EDIT: I see I did not choose the language on the DVD, oops explains that issue anyway still no clue about the partition stuff.

 

I was having trouble too until I enabled update for the useless windows updates as well.

 

Could you explain how you changed your computer to English. I've gone as far as Booting and finishing the download in Czech. Now I would like to change this to English but I can't read anything! lol

please I need help!!!

 

Are you sure the media you are writing to has enough capacity?
