Windows 10: MediaCreationTool1903 problem - 0x80070020 0xA001B

I am trying to create a boot/recovery USB drive using the MediaCreationTool.


I tried several times and it always ends with the 0x80070020 0xA001B error code, saying that something went wrong but they don't know what.


Any advice?

0x80042405 - 0xA001B

I received this error code when setting up the Windows 10 bootable USB: 0x80042405 - 0xA001B

I'm not sure what it is. I've formatted a 32GB USB to FAT32, run the installer off of the USB, and run the program as an Administrator.

Nothing seems to work.

The installer stops at the "Verifying" step at 50%.

Any help/insight would be appreciated!

i am trying to run the MediaCreationTool1903 to build an ISO on my laptop, but it dows not start, stays at 0% for hours

Anybody haw an idea how to make it run?

I tried it on many computers with the same results

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.
