Windows 10: Memory issues

I have one module of 16gb 2666mhz. Whenever I view task manager, the total memory usage by all processes is nowhere near the % usage that task manager is reporting. In the image above, 83% of 16gb is over 13gb, which is clearly nowhere near the memory in use by all these processes. I have done all the basic troubleshooting ( restart pc, close chrome and other large applications), which has proven unsuccessful. I have yet to run a memory diagnosis. Could this be a memory leak? Also, I understand that Windows uses a fair bit of memory while staying quiet about it, but theres no way it could be this much...right? I would appreciate it if anyone knows what is happening, and could help me lower memory usage. Thanks

Memory issues

Thank you for updating us. We suggest that you run the Memory Diagnostics Tool, this is to check your system for memory problems. Follow the steps below:

• Open Control Panel and type memory in the search bar.
• Click on Diagnose computer memory problems to open it.
• If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  

Let us know the status of the issue.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

Memory Issue.

Go to motherboard manufacturer site, go to Support section, download memory compatibility list. Check your memory.

If you'll find it in list go to step two: at memory manufacturer site download memory manual.

Compare memory settings in manual and in BIOS.
