Looks like I am going to have to install Office 2013 64 Bit as the 32 Bit can only use a maximum of 2GB's of RAM. My only concern is that I may have to amend mall my declare variables in VBA and I have several hundred workbooks

Oh wow.. that would stink but if you have to get the 64 bit that's something you might have to do.

That's probably why I have no such problem with Office 2010 on Win7 w/8GB or Office 2013 on Win10 w/6GB, both are 64-bit versions of Office. Office 2010 was the first to be available as either 32-bit or 64-bit but I did find the 64-bit install didn't like having any 32-bit applications still installed such as FrontPage 2003.

    Hi Guys

Thanks for your input. I am going to load Office 64 Bit on my Laptop and test, before loading on my work PC

I installed Office 2013 64 Bit version on my Laptop today. So far so good. Have had many files opened and run macro on several of the opened files without any issues whatsoever

The downside is that some utilities for Office only work with 32 Bit office for eg ASAP utilities
