    Message that my McAfee protection expired. It should be good for another 11 months.


    I just bought my HP laptop about 30+ days ago and it came with a 1 yr Mcafee live safe subscription. Now it keeps sending me messages that my pc is at risk because my protection expired yesterday?

    After uninstalling McAfee, McAfee Service Controller and McAfee Validation Trust Protection Services are still running in 'Services'

    Hello Sumit,

    Thanks a lot for the response, and YES, the McAfee Removal Tool (MCPR.exe) worked!

    In fact, McAfee provided me another tool - MFERemoval100.exe and this one requires several steps with switches for every component. I didn't have to do it with the one you provided.

    I removed other McAfee registry entries manually after this step. Checked, all good!

    McAfee is not responding

    Its running well but sudden stop. Says mcafee has expired but its 11 month to expire, i just bought it in this week

    McAfee total protection

    I brought a new laptop from Pc World/Currys it was installed with windows 8. When i got home and loaded McAfee total protection 2013 it was working now that windows has updated to windows 10 i keep getting the message that windows does not support McAfee
    total protection 2013 so i can't update or use McAfee. Is there any way i can get this downloaded so i can have protection when online.
