    Metro Exodus DirectX12 start up crash


    Hello.


    I recently started playing Metro Exodus via the Xbox Game Pass for PC.


    I played until chapter 4 with no problems in Dx11 until I decided to change it to Dx12. After which every time i star the game, it displays a black screen when the opening cutscene is done and is supposed to load the main menu and never loads the actual game.


    I know it is launching the game in Dx12 that causes the problem. I have searched the problem on the internet for the past 2 days and there are multiple discussions and reports that the game has launch problems with Dx12. After trying multiple fixes for other potential problems with no success.


    I am certain that running it in Dx11 will solve the problem, but I have no idea how to change from Dx12 to Dx11, because I can't open the game to change it in the first place.


    How can I change from Dx12 to Dx11 without opening the game?

    None of these steps worked, I am in the process of defragging to see if it deletes that file since I cant reinstall Metro, it just says error, file assassin lets me see the corrupted exodus file yet it doesn't let me delete it

    How to uninstall metro exodus completely?

    Im trying to uninstall metro exodus as I have already beat it, but when I uninstall it only uninstalls a very small portion, leaving a majority of the 50gb there. How do I completely uninstall it?
