    Mic not working through Saffire interface.


    Hey,
    I've got my Liquid Saffire 56 preamp set up and working to my PC with midi/ Audio is working fine.
    I've connected a mic and The Saffire mix control software is showing its receiving audio from the levels, but windows is not.
    Tried to configure/setup new mic from the (saffire audio) in recording list but nada.

    Tried everything, different mic, different xlr, different firewire cable.

    Every setting I can find related to sound i've checked properties of (image attached)

    Contacted focusrite directly to ask about any settings I missed inside mix control and it's all good there.

    Device manager shows interface is up to date on drivers.

    Last thing I tried was troubleshoot the mic from sound settings and got this back -

    Audio interface (Focusrite Saffire PRO 24) stops working after update kb3140768

    Hi.

    My Focusrite Saffire PRO 24 stops working after Windows 10 installs update kb3140768. I get no audio input or output, although the driver does detect that the device is connected and turned on. When I uninstall the update, the device works fine. Unfortunately,
    I don't know how to stop Windows from reinstalling the update on the next reboot.

    I have the latest manufacturer-provided drivers installed (v3.7).

    USB Mic Problems.


    The next step is what I suggested originally. Try it in a friend's PC or take it to Best Buy and ask them to try it one of their PC's. Have to confirm the mic is working OK.

    Hey Everyone,

    Mobo : ASUS M2N MX SE
    Processor : AMD Athlon X2 5200+
    OS : Windows XP Professional SP2 x86

    My Rear panel Speakers and mic works all fine. I got a new set of headphones(with mic) when i connect it to the front panel they don't work. NO SOUND OUTPUT.

    I updated the audio drivers. I tried a few many things but I still can't get them running.
    My default Sound Manager is Realtek HD Audio Manager.

    Please help me get my Front Panel working. A step-by-step guide would be better.
