Windows 10: micro sd card

when i plug in my micro sd card via usb adapter, the notification sound happens. but when i go into 'my computer', it's just 'removable disk M', and can't be opened, saying please insert a disk. if i remove the micro sd card then that 'removable disk M' disappears altogether, so it knows that a disk is inserted which is crazy.in disk management, the micro sd card doesn't appear in the top list, but at the bottom, as disk 6. in properties it says the disk is working properly.i can plug it into my laptop via an sd adapter and was able to format it, but i still can't use it on my pc, any fi

If no go, I would suggest exchanging the Micro-SD adapter (if it came with it) and/or the card.

I agree with @Berton - get a USB Memory Card Adapter that accepts a Micro-SD card if you don't have a integrated SD slot. IF you do, all you need is the MIcro-SD to SD adapter.
