Windows 10: Micro usb has failed - not recognised?

Hi,

Hope somebody can help ? My wife's micro usb has failed in her phone and is nort recognised , either by the phone or my PC. I wondered if anybody could recomend any recovery software, to enable the contents of the card to be saved? It has a number of photos that she is wanting to recover?

Any help would be much apreciated

E7 Dead -- Is it the battery, the device? Voltage not over 3,5V

It has been reported that the micro USB port of the Nokia E7 fails after some time of use. You probably have to make the micro USB port to be fixed. When you plug you see the white led blinking because the E7 senses the energy while you are plugging, but
when you leave the phone charging the contact between the micro USB port and the motherboard is lost.

That is what I guess is your phone problem.

 

Nokia Lumia 810 not charging

Lumia 810 users are reporting failed USB charging/data ports. My wife's phone certainly has suffered this. Both chargers and USB cables (both OEM original) we own charge my Lumia without problem. However, the plug fails to make a good connection on hers.
Something within the port has broken, evidenced by the loss of the snug fit.

I am not looking forward to a micro soldering job! Considering the charging battery cover as solution, but that won't address the loss of USB data connection.
