    Microphone Array driver is not updated in Windows 11, making the mic silent


    My laptop is Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen 7, which has a built-in microphone. The microphone is Microphone Array Intel Smart Sound Technology Intel SST with driver version 10.0.22000.1 2021-06-05. It works well in Windows 10.After upgrading to Windows 11, the microphone takes almost no sound input: not working to me.In the Sound test section of the microphone show the input volume is only 4%:This issue has been reported in Lenovo community, but the experts said that it's Microsoft driver, not Lenovo's:https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Windows-11/Windows-11-Upgrade-Microphone-Issues/m-p/5111273https:/

    Realtek Microphone Array Stopped Today -- Windows Update

    Hi:

    Windows update today delivered 5 Realtek updates. The built-in microphone array has stopped working.

    My machine is an Intel NUC8i3BEH.

    Sound out is working through two outlets. The PC can get sound from the mic on my Bluetooth headset.

    The built-in microphone array does not work in 3 sound-related apps, all of which get sound from the BT headphone mic.

    Windows troubleshooter finds nothing.

    I have downloaded and installed the Realtek Audio driver from Intel's web site (6.0.8716.1). No change.

    There is no way to uninstall the Realtek updates delivered today by Windows Update.

    My microphone is not working. I tried the troubleshooting and it detected problems with generic drivers. My microphone's name is Array realtek

    Could you tell me please how and where can I download new drivers for my microphone?

    I have Windows 10.

    Microphone Array missing, Microphone doesnot work

    1. The computer is a H-P IQ 524 Touchsmart All-In-One 22inch display

    2. All updates installed.

    3. Went to the above suggested web page. Have been there.

    4. Any suggestion as to enabling the microphone array; Speaker Icon > (Right Click) > Select (Recording Device) >opens window titled “Sound” > Select (Recording). Microphone Array not showing.
