Windows 10: Microphone does not work with TS and Discord, but it does with Skype?

Well I have a new laptop and as mentioned above my microphone does not work with Ts and Discord. I hope somebody has an idea how I can fix this (I have turned on the function that it should work with desktop apps).

The issue could be because of the microphone being in a disabled state. I suggest you to try the steps listed below and check if it works:

• Open Control Panel and categorize to view by
  Small Icons.
  
• Click on Speech Recognition and navigate to
  Advanced Speech Options > Microphone > Advanced
  
• Check Real Conexant HD Audio, save the changes and exit
  Control Panel.
  
• Restart the machine to see if the microphone works.

Also, you may go to Settings > System > Sound > under Input, select the Microphone then Troubleshoot

 

Microphone does not work

My microphone does not seem to be working. When I check the sound settings, the bar next to the microphone also does not move as if it doesn`t hear me..

tried on some apps like Discord if it would work there, but that`s not the case, although it says my voice is connected.

My mic is set to default and isn`t muted so that can`t be the problem.

Whenever I call someone I can hear them but they don`t hear me.

I`d need some help on the issue please..
