  1. Microphone inputs not working

Today I was on Discord with a friend and my Mic quit working. No pop-ups or updates showed anything changed.

I have 2 Mic inputs on my PC; 1 dual Mic/Headphone jack on the front panel and one Mic jack on the rear panel.
I have a single input microphone and a headseat with mic built in. Neither work for the Mic. The front dual panel works fine with headphones, but not with a Mic/headphone combo.

Nothing is wrong with my devices or cables. I used it on my 2 other PCs and it worked just fine.

Windows and realtek recognize something is plugged into the mic jack. I ran windows troubleshooter and it will continually say that something is not plugged in, even though it recognized it before.

My mic is set to default.

I have adjusted the windows settings for sound level and everything.

All of my Realtek drivers are up to date. I triple checked. I tried rolling back to a previous driver as well.

I removed all traces of Realtek on my PC; drivers i showed hidden drivers in the manager, folders, and installers. I then ran BIOS and disabled my default audio. I ran my PC in safe mode and re-verified there were no drivers listed. I ran BIOS, and turned on default audio. I installed fresh audio drivers from my Motherboard’s website.

I tried multiple line in ports on my rear panel.

I dont know what else to do. Is there any way i can download a different audio software that will override Realtek? Something with a control panel that i can adjust individual ports?

    Thank you for the time.

    :)

All usb microphone inputs not working

So both my adapter for xlr to 3.5mm jack input and my newly purchased usb microphone are not recognised. I've tried updating the drivers, using different usb ports, uninstalling the drivers and letting windows do it manually. Every time though, it's listed as having issue's in device manager... Can some help?
