Microphone Not Working (Even After Newest Update)

I've searched around for this issue and all the help results are from last year. I have a Turtle Beach Recon 50X headset with a detachable mic. Windows refuses to acknowledge that the other mic exists whether it's plugged in by itself or into the headset.

The microphone works just fine on other windows computers.

The headset works just fine on other windows computers and my laptop.

The closest fix I got was downloading a Realtek Audio Manager from my laptop's main site (I use an Acer Aspire3). That only worked for a day before it was back to not recognizing the microphone.

All the mic permissions are on.

The only mic that pops up is the default which has bad sound quality. I've tried troubleshooting it to find my microphone and not the default and still nothing.

I'm still working on this with no major leads. I've bolded the text because I see the same responses on every discussion and they don't work.
