    Microphone not working in Windows RE since 17783

    The API winmm waveInOpen return "Undefined external error" in Windows RE since 17783

    The error comes from the call to the below API:

    [DllImport"winmm.dll"]

    public static extern uint waveInOpenref IntPtr hWaveIn, uint deviceId, ref WAVEFORMATEX wfx, IntPtr dwCallBack, uint dwInstance, uint dwFlags;

    The test application works fine in Windows RE build 16299.

    Performed the test in windows:

    when the "Privacy->Microphone->Allow desktop apps to access your microphone" Turned off, the same error return in windows.

    when the "Privacy->Microphone->Allow desktop apps to access your microphone" Turned on, the microphone can be open successfully.

    Is this problem related to Windows Privacy settings? How can I open these settings in Window RE?
