Windows 10: Microphone problem on Asus zenbook UX410u

I have a problem most likely related to microphone privacy settings.

While on some apps such as zoom ,Webex etc. my microphone appears to be disabled on other apps such as skype it works properly..

My input device is internal microphone Conexant smartaudio HD .

I tried to fix it by enable and disable in sound settings , updated window 10 version , updated microphone drivers by device manager but nothing helped

I hope you can help me on this matter...

Microphone not working for ASUS UX410U

Hi there,

I've been having issues with my internal microphone on my ASUS UX410U. When I go to "Test your microphone" under Sound settings, the microphone seems to be picking up sound just fine. I've also ensured the microphone privacy settings are all set to "On".
However, when I try to use applications like the voice recorder or Zoom, it's unable to pick up sound from the microphone. Could you please advise what the problem could be?

Asus Zenbook UX305 touchpad multitouch functions stopped working. I suspect windows update cause problem. Any suggestions to solve. Asus helpdesk ask me to reinstall windows. But I cannot as lot of data is in the PC. Appriciate help if some one can suggest
to resolve.
