  1. microphone problem

    Hi!

I would like to ask your help. So my problem is with my microphone which is a Razer Kraken pro. If I connect it into my pc, people can't hear me well. The voice is quiet and there is break in the voice. So I tought the problem is with my microphone but not. I tried it on my cellphone, I made a voice record and it was perfect. there was no too quiet voice and there was no break in voice. I tried to update all driver with a software, called TweakBit, but it couldn't help. If I knocking my microphone I can see in device manager there is some voice, so its working just very very quiet. If I'm speaking in normal voice volume it can't hear anything. just if I knock it. I also tried the settings in device manager but nothing work. I wathced some youtube video, and there was a man who could set his microphone to 192.000 HZ ( studio quality ) in device manager. I only have 48000 Hz dvd quality and the device is the same. So I can't understand what is going on.

Here's the video, please check it on 00:30

    Thank you for your help!

    :)

    Microphone issues

    Hi Michael,

Here are the possible reasons why you're getting an error "The microphone did not pick anything up" when using it:

    • Incorrect settings (microphone is not set as default device)
    • Corrupted or outdated driver
    • Faulty device

For us to isolate the issue, we'd like to know the following:

    • Were there any changes made to your computer prior to this issue(e.g. Windows updates)?
    • Have you tried connecting other microphone to your computer?
    • Have you tried connecting the microphone to the other computer?

In the meantime, we suggest running the Recording Audio Troubleshooter to find and repair problems with recording sound. We also suggest checking if your microphone is set as your default recording device. For troubleshooting steps, please see
    Geethu B's on this
    link.

We're looking forward to your reply.
