Windows 10: Microphone Volume Auto-Adjusting

Discus and support Microphone Volume Auto-Adjusting in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; My microphone volume is being auto-adjusted and I can't find why.     Microphone Volume Auto-Adjusting


    My microphone volume is being auto-adjusted and I can't find why.

    I have already disabled allow apps to take exclusive control. Confirmed Skype is not set to auto-adjust. Neither is Steam Friends list.

    You can see in the example, it starts out high, can clearly see where I manually lower mic volume to 60, and then can see where it auto-adjusts itself up to 86 or so. I was speaking with a fairly consistent volume throughout.

    It has adjusted from 60 up to 69, 72, 77, 80, 86, 92 that I've seen so it's not just reverting to an apps setting, it is definitely adapting.

    I am using a Blue Yeti microphone but the issue also occurs when I switched over to use webcam mic.

    Any thoughts?

    Microphone Volume Won't Stop Auto Adjusting

    I have a Neewer 7000 USB PnP microphone. I want to adjust the volume of it but when I do and start talking again it auto adjusts to 100. I do not want this to happen because it picks up my keyboard clicks and makes the quality bad and really loud. I have
    uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them. I have disabled applications to take control of it. I cannot get it to stop auto adjusting. All I want is it to be locked at a specific volume and not automatically go up.

    Problem with microphone adjust.


    When iam using microphone and speaking the volume of the microphone being lower.
    1.I've removed auto-adjust from skype.
    2.I have the latest version of realtek audio.
    3.I have the latest driver version of my microphone.
    4.Selected "Do nothing" at "Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Sound".

    How can i unadjust the microphone?

    it seems like it happens alot when i restart the comptuer

    but it happened last time during i was working on my computer
