    If your Micro SD card is an adapter (Micro SD to SD) make sure the write protect switch on the adapter is not in read only position.

    Just to be clear, are you saying you can plug the micro-SD card directly into your card reader? If not, and you use one of these...

    ...be aware it has its own separate 'write-protect' slider.

    (As Jimbo suggested), if that didn't work and you get this write-protect error, (read only in diskpart) even though the thing is not physically write protected, then the card has failed. You can still get your data off it (usually), but it is toast, and you might as well throw it out and get a new one. I just went through this with a MicroSDHC a few days ago. There is nothing you can do - it is dead.

    *Ditto Your card is dead. When the bad sectors are mapped to the reserved sectors and no more reserved sectors are available to take in further bad sectors generated, the card turns into write-protected. Nothing can be done. The card is dead.

    I think card is dead as I used Eraser before to clean all it out. Can you guys tell me if there is any software to secure erase data and cant be recoverable ?

    How can I completely erase all data on a (micro) SD card? - Ask Ubuntu

    Simply writing zeroes or random data will not secure erase it.

    If I may hijack...

    Are micro-SD's all that? especially given it's price - I always seem to have issues with it... sometimes it's being recognised, others not... often have to push-click the thing before it shows as as accessible (.. oh and I mean for those that don't use it in camera's etc)
