Windows 10: Microsoft 10 Recovery

My desktop had not been functioning properly so I backed up all my files and did a “fresh start” which processed until it hit 72% then stopped (this was about 12 hours later). I shut the computer down then it just got worse, it would boot up but not let me in using my password. So I created a USB recovery drive and went ahead with that - I tried it twice and both times it stopped at 75% and said there was a problem with the restore. When I turn on the computer now, it says there is no operating system present at all (yes, I did unplug the USB drive before restarting). Now my desktop is useless. Any help would be appreciated.

Microsoft Selects Dolby Audio for Windows 10

it would've been great if microsoft added HEVC decoders, LAV filters along with other codecs with Windows 10, and developing WMP to be better than VLC, KMPlayer and such sorts of media players.

Nevertheless, this is good step for microsoft, by far.
