Windows 10: Microsoft account hacked all information changed

Yesterday, this guy asked if I wanted someone to play with, so I gave him my Discord. He invited me to join a server that looked completely legit. I could feel something was off – I’d seen tons of videos about these scams, and yet I still fell for it.I ended up putting in my email and authenticator app code, and the moment I did, I realized I’d made a huge mistake. When I tried to log back in, my account details had already been changed to the point where my account didn’t even exist anymore.Luckily, my authenticator app still showed the account on my phone. Microsoft Account Hacked - Security Information Changed

Note - This is a new account I created using the same email that used to be attached to the old account.

About a month ago my Microsoft account was hacked and all the information was changed. I contacted Microsoft support and they told me that they found unauthorized access to my account but because my security information was changed they can't give me back the account they can only suspend it.

The new email on the hacked account uses a Chinese email provider domain name: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

Also, my laptop is still logged into the account under the accounts tab in settings. Should I log out of the account or stay logged in to hopefully get back access?

1. If they know my account was hacked and they can suspend it, why can't they give me back access?

2. Will they ever be able to give me back my account?

3. Can I get my purchases (Minecraft) transferred over to this new account?

A corrupted game file is one of the possible reasons why you don't see any information with all of your Microsoft games. To help you resolve this concern, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

Step 1: Sign out your account from the Windows Store. Here is how:

• Open the Store app.
• Click/tap on the user icon, and click/tap on Microsoft account that you are currently signed in to the Store with.
• Click/tap on the Microsoft account again.
• Click/tap on the Sign out link.

Step 2: Reset Store cache. Follow the steps below:

• Press the Win+R keys to open the Run dialog.
• Type WSReset.exe, and click/tap on OK.
  
  Note: The WS tool resets the Windows Store without changing account settings or deleting installed apps.
• The Store and a command prompt will now open without any message. The command prompt will automatically close when the Store cache has been reset.

Step 3: Sign in your account to the Windows Store.

• Open the Store app.
• Click/tap on the user icon, and click/tap on Sign in.
