Windows 10: Microsoft Account is locked constantly

Every time I need to log into my Microsoft account, it is locked due to "someone entered an incorrect password too many times. Sign in is blocked" I am not the one doing that. I have changed my password probably 10 times now and I'm starting to lose track because I can't reuse old passwords. What in the world is going on and can I disable this behavior? I have the Microsoft Authenticator app so I feel safe enough to do so.

  Have you receive any error, when trying to Login using Microsoft Account on your system?
  
• 
  Have you changed the password of your Microsoft Account/
  

I would suggest you to try the below methods and check if it helps:

Method 1: Change the language on the lock Screen.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Click the language on the bottom of the lock screen.
  
• 
  Select the English language and click Ok.
  
• 
  Put your password now and check if you are able to login.
  

If the language option is not available on the bottom of o lock screen, then try method 2.



Method 2: Use On Screen Keyboard.

Follow the below steps;

• 
  Click on the Ease of access icon on the bottom of lock screen.
  
• 
  Select the On Screen Keyboard.
  
• 
  Type your password through On Screen Keyboard.

Locked Out of Admin Account

1. Are you using a Microsoft account or a local account?
   
2. Which version of Windows 10 you are using currently?
   
3. Is the other user account an admin account?
   

I suggest you to try using the on screen keyboard at the login page and check if you are able to login to the PC.

1. At the login screen click on the
   ease of access icon at the bottom right hand corner.
   
2. Click on the on screen keyboard to open it.
   
3. Type the password and try to login.
   

If you are using a Microsoft account, I suggest you to refer the article on

how to reset your Microsoft account password.



However, if you are using a local account, then I suggest you to refer the article on

reset your Windows 10 local account password.



Note: While performing these steps, there might be a risk of data loss. You may take a backup of the data before performing the steps.

To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
