Windows 10: Microsoft Account Login Error code 0x80048823 - "Something went wrong Please try again...

I cannot log in to my Microsoft account on my Surface Laptop 2 with Windows 11.I can log in to my account via chrome or any internet browser fine. However, when I attempted to download the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit to fix the problem, I cannot log into my account to download the app. Here is the sequence of what happens:1. It uses Windows Hello or asks me to input my pin to verify it is me.2. It asks me to log into my account. ****The email below "Forgot password? Email code to dd*****@163.com is NOT my email and it will not let me change it anywhere. It does not show up as an alias anywhere

Login Error - Wrong Microsoft Account Listed

I'm not sure how this happened, but my laptop shows the administrator account with the wrong email address, which does not belong to me, and I have no idea what the password is for that account. The laptop will not allow me to restore unless I have the
right credentials. I cannot access the settings or the start menu without first logging in. Since I do not have the password, I cannot login. I can't afford to lose my programs and files. Any suggestions on how to login using a different account that is
not listed?

 

Keep getting error code 0x80048823

Hello i recently reset my handset due to the "other" storage.

When prompted to log in (download apps ect even at setup) I tried logging on with the email and password but it would give me the error 0x80048823. I know i have the account information right since i setup the email with it already.

• Are you able to login to the same account using web browser?
• What is the exact error message?

I suggest you to reset the Microsoft account password once and check if it helps.
