Windows 10: Microsoft Account login issue: W10 Pro

I had to update to W10, latest build due to the fact that my current build was to expire on 31 July. Did a clean install. Ever since I am unable to log into my MS acvount, from within Windows. Same with Xbox life. I have tried everything available on the net, drom chamging acvounts, adding accounts, internet settings. Nothing working.


In user accounts, when selecting Sign in with MS account instead, nothing happens. When trying to sign in to Microsoft Store and Xbox life, I get: Something went wrong. Please try again later. 0x801901f4.


Please, this is driving me crazy. I cannot install any apps.

In order to help you better, could you please confirm a couple of things:

• Are you able to login with Microsoft account in web?
• What happens exactly when you try to login using Microsoft account?

I suggest you to login to Microsoft account through online login.live.com, if you are able to login to Microsoft account on web then you can reset the password and then try to login and check if the issue persists.

Strange Windows 10 User Account issue.

Unfortunately I had done those steps numerous reboots, it just, reappears for no good reason. The base account isn't even a Microsoft account, it's a local account.

I haven't quite tried the built in administrator account on W10, but so far in my experience on my own computer, the built in account seemed to have absolutely no more control than I did on my own.

It's just strange, I go in, it warns me twice about deleting the account, then it's gone. Reboot, and it's back?

EDIT: Just to specify, both command line and Netplwiz both say only HIS account exists on the computer, it doesn't list this rogue account. This is what I meant in my first post about the fact that even Windows doesn't seem to believe it exists, HALF the time. *Frown
